Reading: Joe Pan and James Sidel

We're thrilled to welcome visiting poet Joe Pan to town for a reading alongside local author James Sidel! Joe will be selling copies of his latest collection, Operating Systems.

Joe Pan is the author of five poetry collections, Operating Systems (Spork Press, 2019), The Art Is a Lonely Hunter, Soffritto, Hi c cu ps, and Autobiomythography & Gallery, and served as co-editor of the best-selling Brooklyn Poets Anthology. His work has appeared in such venues as the Boston Review, Hyperallergic, The New York Times, and The Philadelphia Review of Books.

James Sidel currently serves as Associate Fiction Editor at Brooklyn Arts Press, and as an instructor at Pittsburgh's Point Park University. His story “Insurance,” set in Pittsburgh, won the Glimmer Train Open Fiction Contest in 2012 and his first novel, The Last Survey, is set for publication in 2020.
