Summer Poetry Reading: Chime by Len Lawson (with Malcolm Friend and Joy KMT)

Come out to White Whale for a celebration of Len Lawson’s collection Chime, published in March of this year. He is also the author of the chapbook Before the Night Wakes You (Finishing Line Press, 2017). His poetry has been nominated for the Pushcart Prize and Best of the Net. Len is also a Ph.D. student in English Literature and Criticism at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. He currently teaches English at University of South Carolina Sumter and is a Poetry Reader for Up the Staircase Quarterly. Chime is a reclamation and preservation of the body, especially the black body, which has been under attack in recent years if not since its creation. Len will be joined by Malcolm Friend and Joy KMT for a reading.
